We very pleased to have the opportunity to present, for your consideration, this Fancy Oval Victorian Marble Top Parlor Table with Ornate Base (Circa: 1870). This gorgeous Table weighs approximately 70 pounds and measures 29 ½” in height, 29 ¼” in width, and 21 ¼” in depth. The elegant details on this piece are fabulous! It has a warm and lovely finish and is adorned with its original beveled marble top (in excellent condition)!

The beautiful white oval marble top is beveled, in excellent condition for its age, and sits on a substantial dimensional oval top with incised carved scalloped aprons on all four sides. This substantial dimensional oval top is supported with a fascinatingly beautiful geometric configuration whereby four top legs adjoin to a powerful center geometric incised carved center post with distal finial as do four distal legs with incised carved arc attachments and fluted profiles.. These four distal legs culminate into the feet which sit on wooden castors for ease of movement. You will also notice additional unique details including Egyptian-type carved shield attachments as well as scrolled attachments, four distal acorn finials, four upright turned finials, and additional incised carvings throughout. It is an absolutely fabulous table indeed!
